Ah Google, is there nothing you can’t ask?

Q:  do you have a romantic partner

A:  Yes

Q:  how much should i give to a best friends offspring for wedding gift

A:  It is up to you.  In general amounts range from $50 to $200 (with the higher amounts more prevalent in the NorthEast and MidAtlantic region), but if you can’t afford that amount, it is fine to give less, or nothing at all.

Q: what to do if i accidentally told equifax to place fraud alert

A:  Call them up and ask them?

Q: why do some people prefer controversy?

A:  because their jobs aren’t fulfilling enough

Q:  how much do you give for a wedding gift if they have been living together for years

A:  It is up to you.  In general amounts range from $50 to $200 (with the higher amounts more prevalent in the NorthEast and MidAtlantic region), but if you can’t afford that amount, it is fine to give less, or nothing at all.

Q:  how to lower down cranky nature of a kid

A:  First, make sure the kid isn’t hungry.  Low blood sugar can cause crankiness– it’s good to keep protein on hand and to limit things that give sugar highs and later crashes.  Lack of sleep is another thing that can cause crankiness– we’re fans of letting kids manage their own sleep schedules, but sometimes they need help with routines and suggestions of going to bed earlier and making sure that the kid knows nothing interesting is going to happen once ze is asleep.  Sometimes kids are cranky because they need more attention, so try to focus on attention for positive things and less for negative things (“Do you need more cuddles?  It’s ok to ask for hugs!”).  Sometimes they’re spoiled and need to be told to knock it off.

Q: why we should not always search for meaning

A:  Because often it is better to, you know, actually do things that are meaningful.

Q: why does my mom make me do stuff i dont want to

A:  Most likely because she loves you and wants  you to grow up to be a good person.  Possibly, though, it could be that she’s just evil.  Why don’t you want to do the things she wants you to do?  Is death and/or dismemberment involved?  Is she asking you to break the law?

Q: why does my dad made me do things i don’t want

A:  See above.

Q:  why don’t kids have the right to do the things they want to do

A:  Guess what?  Most adults don’t get to do everything they want to do either!
