Glad to see we’re not the only people seriously skeeved by world domination summit.

If you feed your cats fancy feast, we’ve been having problems lately with little kitty having diarrhea and throwing up… after a week of eating just hard food she was mostly better, and she’s been mostly avoiding soft food.  Turns out we’re not the only people having this issue, and it may be fancy feast.  Any recommendations for soft food?  She doesn’t like the high fiber Hill’s stuff from the vet.

Love the poem about the delayed flight! But one thing I’m a little confused about is that this is being posted at multiple blogges, it is attributed to its author, but there is no copyright notice or anything.

I follow Roxane Gay on twitter. The amount of crap she got for just using twitter the way all of us do was obnoxious, to say the least. The initial incident was bad enough, and then a bunch of idiots on the internet piled on to “play devil’s advocate” and do the other nonsense privileged idiots on the internet do. She is such a great writer- maybe one small silver lining from all of this is that more people will discover that. I’m reading Bad Feminist: now and it is soooo good.

Re: cat food. I switched mine from Fancy Feast to Priority (also available at the supermarket, and cheap, BUT grain-free) after reading up on idiopathic regurgitation, from which my black cat has suffered from years.

They both like the Priority (orange label, turkey & giblets flavor pleez) and there has been a lot less barfing over the past few months.
