I totally love the group of images. Wow, I wasted way too much time looking at those!

FYI, the Mathematical Association of America has apparently figured out a way to ensure that its next president will be a woman, no matter how everyone votes. Since there have been only 4 women presidents out of 56 so far (and none in the last dozen years), I say kudos to them! As one of the other candidates told me, ” Between MAA, AMS, and SIAM, only 6% of former presidents have been women, and that number is actually inflated by SIAM’s two most recent presidents being women. It’s time. :)”

I’m skeptical about this fee-based “how to blogge” course. There is f*ckeloades of information on the Internet about how to write a popular blogge, much of it by super popular bloggers, and it all boils down to a few basic principles:

    (1) Choose a topic of interest.

    (2) Don’t be a shitty writer.

    (3) Post often and regularly.

    (4) Have a well-run comments section that encourages reader engagement.

Sounds like this “course” is a scam.
